The award highlights the continuous hard work and commitment from the team at Newground and the great work Newground is involved in with individuals to secure training and job opportunities.

ReUse Centre - Change in opening hours

A Lancashire charity that supports people to furnish their home affordably is increasing its opening hours after a rise in demand.  Newground reuse, based in Pickup Street, Blackburn, will now open late night on Thursdays and on one Saturday a month.

Works Better helps Dawn to start again


Forty four-year-old Dawn, from Hebden Bridge, Halifax, was tired of being unhappy, but thanks to Works Better she’s gained her confidence back, and has a new lease of life.
