Do you want to help to drive positive social and environmental change?

Newground CIC, a member of the Together Housing Group, is an award winning social enterprise that operates throughout the UK, delivering professional products and services in a competitive marketplace.

The Business Services Division is currently looking for an innovative and inspiring leader to manage its Legislation Update Service (LUS). LUS is an online product, providing organisations in the UK and Republic of Ireland with bespoke legal registers for environment, health & safety and food. The product is aimed primarily at supporting organisations to meet the compliance obligation requirements within current management systems standards, offering an efficient and effective way for businesses to maintain compliance.

This new role is responsible for managing all aspects of the LUS product including sales growth, customer care and retention, product quality, development and security, marketing and social media presence.  The post holder will also deliver product workshops, seminars and presentations to both prospective and existing clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with our team of professional health & safety and environmental consultants and ideally have an understanding of health & safety, environment and / or food legislation and the use of management systems standards in a commercial environment.

You’ll be an excellent communicator and leader who can manage a small team with high levels of integrity, fairness and professionalism. You’ll enjoy working to targets, managing budgets and leading on project delivery and will have the ability to attract and recruit new businesses to the service whilst maintaining effective working relationships with existing stakeholders. Experience of developing an online product and using social media for promotional purposes is desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential
