Salary: £32,930 - £37,179 pa
Hours: Permanent, Full time – 37 hours/week

Are you a Contracts Manager with experience of managing landscape build projects and securing work? If so we have a great opportunity for you to join our team at Newground based in Blackburn, Lancashire, an award winning CIC and a member of the Together Housing Group. You will manage a wide range of landscaping work carried out in the North of England including but not limited to; play areas, park improvements, public realm work, neighbourhood improvements & school grounds. In addition there is also a bespoke design & build service.
As a core part of the role the successful applicant will be securing tenders & commissions and then managing a programme of landscaping construction projects & environmental improvement services.
Our Contracts Manager’s normal day to day duties will likely include;
Managing projects to time and to budget – including production of delivery plans, monitoring project progress and spend and preparing certificates for payment / invoices
Securing work - through completing tender documents and bills of quantities and prepare quotes for landscape work
Promoting our landscape services - through effective sales networking and maintaining positive relationships with clients
The ideal applicant will have the following skills & experience;
Experience in the management of programmes of landscape construction projects
Experience in the pricing of commercial tenders and preparing schedules of work & quotes
Experience of promoting landscape services and dealing directly with clients
Knowledge of construction site health & safety
Knowledge of material & construction specifications
