Christina Worsley

Consultant

As a Consultant I'm committed to advising and supporting organisations to become more resilient in the changing climate we live.  During my employment at Newground I have worked with a wide variety of organisations, large and small, and across a diverse range of sectors.   I have experience developing creative delivery options to achieve and exceed agreed objectives.

Prior to becoming a consultant, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture and was employed as a Rural Business Advisor for a number of years.  In this role I worked on a range of rural diversification projects taking initial ideas through to the opening of a new business. These stages included, feasibility, planning permission, business planning and funding and marketing.  This has given me a real insight into a number of challenges faced by businesses and the ability to communicate effectively.

What I do at Newground

I’ve worked for over 10 years in the business consultancy field and I specialise in flood risk management, business resilience and resource efficiency   I'm also skilled in developing and delivering training in all of the above topics.  I'm an Associate Member of IEMA (AIEMA), Associate Environmental Auditor and hold a CIEH Professional Trainer Certificate.

I currently manage the project team and work closely with Local Authorities, the Environment Agency and private businesses to deliver a range of business consultancy support across the country.

In my spare time

I spend all my spare time outdoors, I’m a keen equestrian competitor with four horses and enjoy training, producing and competing in Show Hunter and Show Cob classes across the country. Having grown up on a family farm I enjoy all aspects of the farm and country life.
